Passport Problems

Safely dropped off at the airport. Waited in line. Got to the check in counter and were packing up our bags when suddenly she says, “wait, before you do that…”

We turn around and look at her like she’s speaking a foreign language. “I’m sorry,” she continues, “your passport expires in four months. Fiji immigration requires at least six months to be valid on the passport to enter the country.”

She gives us the paper with the name and number to the instant passport office (never knew that really existed) where Brian has to wait tomorrow to get his pass to this adventure.

Luckily she rebooked us free of charge tomorrow, moved back our flight one day to NZ and three days to come back home. I’m not complaining about that.

See you in a couple days, Fiji.
